Use your phone as a touchpad and keyboard for PC
Control your Windows PC’s pointer and type from your Android phone, handy for presentations or a PC on the TV. Every session is approved on the PC.
Allow Remote input for your phone on the PC, tap Touchpad on the phone, and approve the session on the PC. The phone screen becomes a touchpad, and Type on the PC lets you type with the phone’s keyboard, which is useful when the PC is across the room on a TV or projector.
At a glance
- Off by default; every session needs approval on the PC.

- Type on the PC sends text from the phone’s keyboard.
- The phone controls the PC, not the other way round.

Built to stay under your control
Remote input is one of the permissions that stays off until you allow it for a device. Each session must be approved on the PC itself, and the PC shows who is in control for as long as it lasts. Leaving the room afterwards? Lock the PC from the phone.
Two PCs side by side?
To use one mouse and keyboard across two Windows PCs, see screen-edge crossing, which is in beta.
