Find your lost Android phone from your PC
Ring your Android phone at full volume for 30 seconds, even on silent, and see where it is from your PC, with no account or cloud tracking.
Click Find › Play sound on the PC and your phone rings at full volume for 30 seconds, even when it is set to silent. Show location asks the phone where it is and sends the position straight to your PC. Allow it now, before the phone goes missing.

Step by step
Allow it in advance
On the phone open the PC › Permissions and turn on Find this phone. Do it now; you can’t do it once the phone is lost.
Ring the phone
On the PC open the phone and click Find › Play sound. Add a short message if you like.
See where it is
Click Show location. The phone sends its position straight to your PC.
Find the PC from the phone
Tap Find on the phone. The PC shows a notice that you close with OK, found it. The PC must allow Find device.
Limits
- Location works while the phone app is running in the background, shown by the “Personal Bridge is running” notification.
- PCs can’t report a location; finding a PC shows a notice on its screen.
- Command line:
pdb find <device>, which also works from Linux.
Questions
Does it work when the phone isn’t at home?
Yes, if the phone app is running and has internet access: paired devices connect over the internet (Connect over the internet).
Is my location stored anywhere?
No. The phone sends its position directly to your PC, end-to-end encrypted, and it isn’t stored on any server.
Will it ring if the phone is on silent?
Yes. It plays at full volume for 30 seconds even when the phone is set to silent.
What if the phone is switched off?
Then it can’t answer. The phone has to be on with the app running in the background.
