Open links and continue on another device

Open a web link on your other device, or hand over the page or PDF page you were reading so you can carry on there.

Send a link and it opens in the other device’s browser. Continue goes one step further: it hands over the web page, or the PDF and page number, you were looking at.

Steps

  1. Send a link

    On the PC open the device and use Open a link › Open on device. On the phone tap Link. Only http and https links are accepted.

  2. Continue something

    On the PC, Continue takes a web address, or a PDF name and Page; click Continue there. In Chrome or Edge, the Use the Chrome and Edge extension offers Continue on <device> for the current tab.

  3. It opens on the other device

    The receiving device opens the link or document if it allows Open links and Continue for the sender (both allowed by default).
