Search files across your devices
Find files in the shared folders of all your devices by keyword, including Korean text and the contents of HWP and Office files.
One search looks through the shared folders of every device that allows it. Each device searches itself; only file names and short snippets travel back.
Steps
Share folders to search
On each PC open Settings › File sharing › Share a folder. Only shared folders are searched.
Allow search
On each device, allow Search for the devices that may search it (off by default).
Search
On the PC open Search; on the phone tap Search (“Search your PCs”). Type keywords and open or download a result.
What it finds
File names and the text inside documents, including HWP, HWPX and Office files. Korean matches even without spaces between words. It is a keyword search, not an AI or “semantic” search. Command line: pdb search.
