Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
Why SmartScreen or your browser warns about the signed installer, how to check it is genuine, and how to run it safely.
Our Windows files are code-signed by our business. Microsoft SmartScreen still warns about new signed apps until enough people have installed them, so you may see a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen.
Steps
Download only from this site
Get the installer from the download buttons on personaldevicebridge.com. If you want to be sure, check it as described in Check that your download is genuine.
Keep the download in the browser
If Edge says the file isn’t commonly downloaded, open the downloads list, choose … › Keep › Show more › Keep anyway.
Check the publisher
On the blue screen click More info. The publisher must be 프로젝트팀포유 (Project Team For You). If it says Unknown publisher, don’t run the file; download it again from this site.
Run it
If the publisher is correct, click Run anyway. The warning goes away as the app builds up a reputation with Microsoft.
