Move your 공동인증서 between PC and phone
Copy Korean public-key certificates (the NPKI folder) between PC and phone, end-to-end encrypted, with approval on the receiving device.
Moving a 공동인증서 usually means USB sticks or export codes. Here the certificate and its key file travel directly and encrypted between your own devices. The password is never sent, and the receiving device shows the holder and expiry date before you approve.
Steps
Allow certificates on the receiving device
Receiving on the phone: on the phone open the PC › Permissions and turn on Send certificates here. Receiving on a PC: set Certificate move to Allow for the sender.
Choose the certificate on the PC
Open the device and find Move 공동인증서 › Find certificates on this PC. Pick the certificate by name and expiry date.
Send and approve
Click Send to …. The PC shows “Waiting for approval”. On the receiving device check the name and expiry date, then approve.
From the phone to a PC
On the phone tap Certificates, pick one and tap Send to PC. After approval it is installed in the PC’s NPKI folder.
Where certificates go
- Windows:
AppData\LocalLow\NPKIin your user folder, where Korean banking and government sites look for it. - Android: Personal Bridge keeps the certificate in its own protected storage, so you can carry it to another PC. Other apps on the phone can’t use it from there.
- No certificate is ever stored on a server.
